3. From 70? I have the ecology flag somewhere that I won for the

best essay on natural history, or as we called it then during the late Mezazoic Era, biology.

in NY (LI). Wasn't there a big fleet week type of extravaganza? I remember my family hosting some Germans on sailing ships.

8. That's a good one to have. Somewhere I have my grandfather's

"Democrat for Nixon" button from 68.

I dug it out of the trash where he had tossed it sometime in 70, just before I was about to get drafted.

He thought Nixon would end the war before I had to go.
