Is anyone staying up just to wait for the snow?
I have snow on the brain tonight, I guess. Better there than on my nose.

1. No.
Chances are good it won't be snowing in Florida any time soon.

13. We have gotten several inches already here in Iowa.
I used to enjoy the falling snow and the slow scrape of shovels in the morning. Now we awake to the howl of snowblowers courtesy of our neighbors who are also repukes with the accompanying lack of redeeming qualities. I like best a day snow that ends at early evening so all the racket gets done before 9 PM. That I can watch with more tranquility.

14. Is it a light powdery snow?
That's what they predicted for here. Then the 45 mile an hour wind gusts will cause large snow drifts.

16. Yes, light and powdery
But over a coating of malevolent sleet that fell before it. In our local area anyway.

17. Ours will be falling on bare sidewalks.
Won't take long to get slippery, though. And the weather will be around 20 degrees for a few days.

Good luck with yours.

12. No, no possibility of snow in SF...
But that's a beautiful thought.

I love the utter silence of snowfall late at night...

15. No, we're not supposed to get snow until Sunday

in north Georgia -- and we often don't get it when it's predicted. :grr:

I'd love to get a really good snow. I'd welcome the blizzard of '93 again -- this time, the generator's working!

21. I just trudged over to the rental office to pick up a package
I'd say we've gotten at least 4" in the Pittsburgh suburb I live in. I didn't go to my bar prep class this morning; just went back to bed after my friend called to see if I was going. They canceled the afternoon session due to the weather.

I loved walking through the snow - I used to go for walks in the snow when I lived in Kansas. Maybe I'll go for a walk later. When I went to the rental office I couldn't remember where the sidewalk was and couldn't see any tracks, and when I stepped onto what I thought was the sidewalk I sank into snow halfway up my snow boots.

Actually, I'm staying up due to this pain in my neck. I believe it's from shoveling. I honestly do. Then again, I did get at least 8 inches worth today.

26. If I was staying up to wait for the snow
I would never go to bed, on rare occasion it has snowed here, but nothing to call worrisome. No reason to stay awake. I live in the desert, but if the weather services called for a blizzard, I might keep one eye open.

27. Yes & No
I often stay up late on weekends, sometimes till 3 or 4, so it's not odd that I'm up now.

That said, I'm loving watching the snow coming down. It's blizzarding outside. I love it! I love it cos I don't have to worry about shoveling out to get to work tomorrow.

I also love it cos the fuckwit who lives a few doors down (condo complex) has parked his car in the area where there's a parking ban. There are signs up EVERYWHERE, and it's in an area that he'd have to be a freaking moran to not notice the dearth of other cars. (It proves my theory that he's the moran he looks like.) I can't wait for the plow to either bury him, hit his car, or for him to get called out for it. He he.

Does that make me a bad person?!?!?
