1. What an understatement--it's hilarious!
I watched it three times straight once!

3. Great movie. The archetypes are just about perfect, and there are

too many funny lines to list them all.

Amazing as most of the dialogue was improvised.

4. Amazing
The first time I saw "A Mighty Wind" I missed the last two minutes because I laughed so hard I slid out of my seat onto the theatre floor.

Guest and the rest of the group manage to poke fun at people while maintaining an affection for them at the same time. Humor based on affection, not hate, is very rare.

6. I never heard of anyone having such a reaction to the last two mins
It must have sounded like poetry. Almost.

I love the scene where the "nervous guy" gets smacked on the head!

8. Loved BiS, but as a musician, A Mighty Wind is just too good to be true.
The guy who runs Town Hall? I know a bunch of guys like that.

The lead guy for the New Main Street Singers? I've met that guy too...about 100 times.

The way Guest's character's voice gets progressively bleatier from the B&W days to the present? That's exactly what happens to these guys.

For all the obvious humor in the film, it's the subtle things that really inspire.

And talk about range as an actor - how about Eugene Levy's character? Amazing!

9. And ". . . you better do what the good book tells you too!"
I love "A Mighty Wind." I've got it on DVD so I can watch it over and over.
