I am so in trouble with my wife. She told me I could have one piece while she was at work at one piece when she got home. My logic - one piece = 1/4 of the cake and I just had my two pieces for the day.

Got my fork and knife right here!

6. Yechhhh!
I had exactly the oposite problem re: German Chocolate Cake/wife.

On my first birthday:party: after we were married (many years ago) my wife bought me a German Chocolate cake at the bakery. I am, unfortunately "allergic" to GCC. In other words I hate it and refuse to eat it.

-I don't see how anybody can eat something with icing that looks like my dog threw it up-:puke:

I kindly thanked her for the gesture, but told her that I didn't really care for GCC and didn't eat any.

As you can imagine, this did not go over too well

25 years later she has finally forgiven me . . . I think.:eyes:

I have since learned to eat a lot of things that I'd rather not, including a lot of crow, but I still will not eat German Chocolate Cake

7. This is what you do.
Eat the rest of the cake. Bake an entirely new cake, have your "one piece" out of that, and when she gets home, have your second piece.

She'll never know. ;)
