Name the Conservative Celeb. that you LOVE to HATE!
If there are too many to name, do a top five or a top three. If you can't think of a celeb, name a politician... and why--

I'll say the following--

Dennis Miller because it pisses me off that he is so vocal about his views to the extent of being rather obnoxious. He's so glib about it that it's irritating. AND it annoys me that he thinks he's an actor.

Ann Coulter--it bugs the shit out of me that a woman would be so ass backwards in regards to women's as they relate to politics.

2. Dennis Miller is in dire need of some reality check, instead'a paycheck.
Edited on Wed Jan-26-05 02:11 AM by FreepFryer
Left winger turned GOP shillboy, the 'truths' underlying Dennis' political beliefs are an order of magnitude more obscure than his constant latchkey kid television references.

12. What the HELL happened w/Miller? What turned him?
I thought I recalled him being very liberal. Which is one of the reasons he pisses me off so much. Did he take a swift blow to the head or something?

If I was on the left and suddenly lost my mind and HAD to be a Freeper--I would have the good sense to be embarassed and not tell people. He's so damned vocal about it--so obnoxious!

27. He is EXTREMELY and deliberately offensive
and I wonder if it's for the ratings because his show has been on the edge of cancellation more than a few times. I used to like him a lot but now he's very mean-spirited and has absolutely no patience for a differing view.

39. Dennis Miller is in deep passionate love with Dennis Miller
He has always been a major narcissist, even in his early Saturday Night Live days. He seems to have become disgruntled that the world doesn't love him as much as he loves himself.

I never found him funny, just obscure.

Edited on Wed Jan-26-05 08:45 PM by bliss_eternal
an event like 9/11 could not have 'changed' the way he viewed the world.

He's such a resounding disappointment to see as a conservative now. To see someone that seemed so intelligent and truly informed about the world spew such hatred and nonsense at times--so sad. :(

But if he ever did 'come to his senses' and try to return I doubt anyone on the left would want him. LOL!

Coulter is the one who calls anyone who dissents traitors and is just so outright hateful. I would want to take her and drop her in the middle of a war zone.

Ted Nugent because he is so self-righteous and is the most ass-backwards rock star (if you can call him a star) that there is.

13. basically...
...Ann Coulter gave a "speech" at my college. I asked her about her quote regarding her position on whether women should have the right to vote (she was on PI a few years ago and said "women should have the right to bare arms but not to vote").
She kept dodging my question and I called her out. She cut my mike and I flipped her off and called her a "Nazi Cunt".
Maybe wearing my "You Forgot Poland" shirt and "impeach bush" button was a give away ? :P

22. Drew Carrey....
I met him a few times back when he was hanging around Parma. Stopped in the bar I was bouncing at (no, really, I was a bouncer. Got bounced a few times, but hey, the drinks were free.)

He was a jerk. No one who knew him thought he was funny. Just a smart Alec....

I hated the fact that he set his show in Cleveland and then took off for LA as fast as his big fat ass could get there.....

It wouldn't have killed him to bring the show here to tape. Or even that sorry ass rip off of whose line is it. He could have set that up in one of the great theatres we have downtown, could have given a much need spark to Playhouse Square....

Just a Clevelander in name only.......

Hollywood and he WENT totally Hollywood, too?

He got Lasix surgery, so the glasses are gone--which was the only thing that I feel made him distinctive. He also lost weight and had his hair dyed blonde.

Guess he didn't like himself much to begin with, did he?

25. The Intelligent ones like William F. Buckley
since they do a lot more damage with their magazines. And then the fascist entertainers like Toby Keith and Ted Nugent. They just played to a big crowd of people down in the Quad Cities. Nugent had the US flag, so I heard, prominently featured in his act. But wore a Confederate battle flag shirt. I guess the crowd (suckers) just ate all that up.

Whenever the B.B.C. have any discussion about American politics he is always the representative of the right-wing. (B.T.W., I know he's a Canadian, but he is always featured in the context of American politics.)

Over here they're all too ridiculous and ineffectual to hate, how could one hate a man like Iain Duncan Smith - he himself said he was 'the quiet man'?

Some of the people on their list surprise me, others didn't. Some I wonder how current the list is. For example, someone like Dick Clark I can see as being the conservative of yester year--more in support of govt. fiscal responsibility. Not necessarily the hate and disclusion of the current party. D. Clark has always seemed to be very pro racial equality and human rights. So I wonder. Éither way, I can't hate him. LOL!
