I can't tell you the shit I go through everyday. But I'm sure it's the same for you. If I ain't defending myself from someone poisoning me while I sleep, it's shurikens to the eye or a nanhcaku up the side of the face or some dickass snapping the high wire I'm sneaking across to kill the local magistrate or merchant.

To say nothing of the all the gnats and shit that bite the hell out of me when I'm walking across ponds and lakes and shit.

it's out of control.

I've seriously considered retirement a number of times.

And the insurance! That's really the worst of it. I can't believe how the insurance companies get away with that kind of graft. "Oh, Rabrrrrrr, as a ninja you're in a high risk category" and blah blah blah. Sure it's high risk, but you know what? The pay also sucks, dickwads! I don't earn that much to pay your goddamn premiums!

ARGH! I'm so frustrated.

And don't even ask me about my last birthday, when the family decided to throw a little "surprise" party for me. NEVER SURPRISE A NINJA!! Jesus, the blood was astronomical. That little party cost me almost $6,000 in carpet cleaning, let alone all the apologizing and explaining to the injured guests and their family members. I mean, sweet Jesus, what do they expect when you yell "SURPRISE!" to a ninja?

That was what I first had an opportunity to train in so I stuck with it. Did not want what happened with my forms when I went from American Kempo Karate to Taekwondo. My forms were far from pure in either style as a result.

and the Korean variant of Kendo, Haedong Kumdo.

with a CWC license so you may not get close enough for your sword to do any good. ;)
