6. One reporter said it all:
It was a celebration for Bush and his supporters. It wasn't like previous inaugurations, where a president convincingly told the public he was interested in representing all Americans. Bush isn't here to represent the American people. He's here to push forth his own agenda. What was to like about his inauguration under these circumstances? It was like the Germans marching into France. There wasn't much we could do about it.
