Speaking of tombstoned DUer's...

Does anyone remember the girl who used the Asian character from "Futurama" as her avatar image? Did she get tombstoned as well? I remember she used to be a big poster here in the Lounge.

And yes, she was tombstoned for being racist I beleive...

Was her name Kamira or something like that? If I remember correctly, she was Korean and lived in Texas or Arizona. I used to think she was funny.

I've never really understood this tombstoning thing? I've had instances when i've been incredibly harrassed and stalked yet that person was not tombstoned. You must have to do something really bad to have that happen.

I think the tombstone is enough, with all things considered.

Had a lot of good laughs with Kamika, and a lot of fun trek threads. I've missed her a lot.

Awful homophobe, though. One of those real serious Korean Presbyterians. Sad, really. So utterly progressive and liberal on other things.

(and before anyone flames me: please, I AM a church professional, I have studied the church in asian countries, and I know a lot of Korean Presbyterians, even some of the ministers, we're good friends, and it is true that, while naming specificallyt "Koreans" here could be racist, it isn't, because the Korean Presbyterian Church is rather different from the American version, even amongst the Korean Presbyterians who have been in America for a generation or two (and also different from the Japanese version of Presbyterian, which also tends to be very conservative, but in a somewhat different way)).

She seemed all right. I didn't witness the meltdown that got her tombstoned, but I was surprised to hear of it. Oh well.
