I love the French, so long as they stay in France and don't tell us how much more enlightened they are. And what the hell is with Chirac trying to initiate a "World AIDS tax"? Fuck him, and fuck you if you think that's a good idea. Liberals are always so damned charitable - with somebody else's money. AIDS is a PREVENTABLE disease. Why is more money being spent on that than on cancer? And don't give me that shit about they in the backwater countries on the African and Asian continents not being smart enough to know what causes AIDS. That's even more racist than the beginning of my post. If you continue to treat these people like stupid children and try to clean up after their mistakes, they will continue to make mistakes. Multi-partner non-protected sex, and IV drug use pass the AIDS virus. Stop making excuses for the scumbags who do these things.

If this idiot doesn't really understand why AIDS is so rampant in Africa, and doesn't understand the powerlessness of so many people, nothing you can say will get through his thick skull.

cranky and disgusted with people who post selfish misanthropic crap like that, but -- many, many, many of those now suffering from AIDS were BORN with it and did not engage in any risky behavior that he so abhors at all. Many people also, because of greed and ignorance, have received tainted blood and plasma products from hospitals. If this person can't be compassionate for the human race as a whole, perhaps he or she could at least feel some shame for shunning children and those upon whom it was inflicted. Rape victims, too. Just to see how heartless this guy really is...
