Which state has the ugliest drivers licenses??
Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 01:25 AM by SmileyBoy
I'll have to say Minnesota. They look more like a tax form than a drivers license.

I have a Minnesota license BTW, and I can't WAIT to get my North Dakota one.

15. Wow.
That's quite an upgrade. How much electrolysis did it take to get rid of all that facial hair?

2. Minnesota definitely
They have had ugly D/Ls for years...The dark green ones for under 21 are really ugly.

Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 01:29 AM by SmileyBoy
The ones that looked like a shitty credit card?? Those were the WORST.

5. But I'm sure the design is decent.
Actually, I think I remember seeing a Florida license. When I was the assistant manager of a convenience store, I used to have to card lots of people for smokes and such.

On edit... never mind... I looked at the dates and they don't make sense, says it was issued in 2007 and expires in 2004... so I guess it's a sample... back to work for me...

the holograms on them are simplistic, too, most bars have readers tho for the magnetic strips on back, and those are dificult to fake

18. You mean bars check I.D. with a magnetic reader before serving drinks?
Thank goodness I live in England.

I've never had I.D. checked for buying booze (fortunate as we don't tend to carry any with us).

The best one was the Students' Assocation bar, you had to have a university I.D. card to get in to the building and yet the bar-staff never asked for any I.D. despite the fact that in the Scottish system some people go to university at 17 (drinking age is 18).

When I was stationed in Maine, the D/L's were paper, and the vehicle regs were hand-written.

The TX ones are actually not too bad; pretty basic... I'll look for a picture.

21. Funny. I can't wait to get back to having a Minnesota one.
My Idaho license is pretty okay. Not great, not ugly.

(I was so reluctant to give up my Minnesota license after I moved here that I, er...kept it for two years. Don't tell on me.)

Edited on Fri Jan-28-05 05:44 PM by KamaAina

So do our license plates, come to think.

Our state ID cards, on the other hand, have NO rainbows. Why should we non-drivers be rainbow-deprived?

Edit: I used to go out with Polaroid Driver back before that creep Sample from the used-car lot swept her off her feet :-)
