I'm shipping my wife off to the Great White North
tonight. It's 75 degrees here in Tampa now, and it'll be about 15 degrees when she lands in Cleveland.

3. I live in the cleveland area.......
why do we have to constantly go through this stupid crap.....I wouldnt live in FLA. for anything, do I say stuff about it? Do I go out of my way to deride the place? Some of us love winter......wow? Can you just imagine that?????????????????????????????????????????????????
So take your comments about how terrible it is way up here in the NORTH and...............?
I wont lower myself.
I love OHIO and I wouldn't live anywhere else.

5. I think I'm qualified to criticize
I lived in Cleveland for almost 50 years. Worked on the railroad in the mills. Sat through "Red Right 88" at Cleveland Stadium in -19 degree (-54 wind chill) weather, and still own a house there.

I'll take the Gulf Coast of Florida any day!

4. Make sure she's got warm clothing.
Those of us who live up here(michigan) all the time don't realize how cold the cold actually is, because our basal metabolic temps start falling automatically in september. I have relatives in Florida. Every time they came to visit, in the winter, they were miserable. Bundle her up!
