Danny came home from school and asked how I was. I said "Tired, Dan, can you make me a pot of coffee?" He said sure. I watch you do it all the time- how much coffee and how much water?" So I told him. And he did- he brewed up a perfect pot of coffee! I knew there was a reason I had kids!
he's ruining childhood for all other kiddies...bad, bad!!...just kidding! Nowadays you'd be happy if you could the kid(s) to even take out the garbage without any feedback.
11. My mom taught me how to make the perfect martini...
Granted I had just turned 20 at the time. She used to tend bar for years, so whenever I visit she can make a damn fine drink out of any available liquor...thats her McGuyver like talent, something that she is passing down to me!
My daughter is four so I still have 6 more years to go. :( She helps me clean around the house though...I don't even ask her for help. Yesterday she had a friend over and they asked if they could mop the kitchen floor. Why stop them, right? Besides, it's not like she's going to ask these things when she's 14 so I might as well enjoy it while I can.
and help clean up ( sometimes). That is really cool. Maybe I should train mine to do that. He'll be nine soon. :)

15. I taught our 3 y.o. to get me a beer from the fridge
He even knows the difference between light and dark. The other day he came running out with a Bass and said, "Here's your Bass, Mom!" I guess he recognized the triangle.
He asks now- depending on what we're eating. His favorite though is bringing up a can of Guinness because it has this ball in the can and he likes to shake it after it is emptied! This is the first time he's made a pot of coffee though!
He is a great kid- funny, smart, cute and boy does he hate Bush! He really does make me smile!
