Bambino will awaken from his short nap
and will again kick the Bosox's low hangers with a high, hard one.

It's only a matter of time.

2. maybe but...
I have followed the Red Sox since oh about 1973 or so and I have to say I have never ever seen a Red Sox team play like this. I'm so used to them folding like a cheap napkin that I'm at a loss for words here.

Go Sox.

4. You know
Cinderella teams always seem to roll over the A's and then reality returns when they play someone else! Well the A's are not going to let this Cinderella team go to the Ball with the Yankees where they will only waste it and lose!!

5. Go A's
But seriously, I find it simply bizzare that the A's haven't been able to put away the Yanks in '00 or '01, and now the Red Sox in '03. You guys aren't cursed, are you?

8. The A's blew it today
What's up with them? Their closer couldn't shut down a poorly hitting Sox lineup. Ortiz was due for sure; but the closer just didn't have his stuff. They had him from the get-go.

I don't think the A's are going to win tomorrow. Not against Pedro. He'll probably mow 'em down.

But the Yanks will take care of what the A's can't do, as always.

6. Why the fuck would anybody think they deserve it more than the redsox
nobody except maybe the Chicago fans deserve it more

obviously if A's fans cared as much about there team they would spend as much on them as sox fans do on our team.

We pay more than any other team's fans do, and we're the only team with a 100 percent attendance this year, and that's why we have the 100 million dollar payroll. Without a world series in 17 years, or a world series win in 85.

and Chicago doesn't have the Kennedy curse in there backyards too.

That's 2 curses.

The Yankees don't deserve shit either.

9. Yeah the Yankees don't DESERVE to win
They go out and earn it.
You know, how champions are supposed to? ;)
Just because you suck for so long doesn't mean you suddenly "deserve" victory- this is what traps the Red Sox. You don't just get a win because you've suffered- earn it. You've had your chances....

10. Why Did Mocha Pitch Hudson Today?
I would have saved my ace for Game 5. He would have had full rest. Now, you go into the final game without your best pitcher. Idiot!
