any strange and arcane superstitions?

I've never rooted for a team that made it this far into the playoffs so I'm totally inexperienced at this. :-)

What an unbelievable performance from both sides. It was indeed Epic.

24. St. Pedro's Day
Edited on Mon Oct-06-03 10:48 PM by Davis_X_Machina
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he'll remember with advantages
What feats he did that day: then shall our names.
Familiar in his mouth as household words:
Pedro the king, Nomar and Derek,
Ortiz and Manny, Damon and Varitek,
Be in their flowing cups freshly remember'd.
This story shall the good man teach his son;
And Crispin Crispian shall ne'er go by,
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remember'd.

22. Bosox, you have just met me a new fan
that was so dramatic, all the way until the final strikeout! This Red Sox team has HEART, and they're not intimidated by the Yankees at all. The A's oh man, you were sooo close...what a series this was to enjoy as a sports fan.

To Will Pitt, I'll buy my Bosox stuff tomorrow, as I tend to bring good luck to teams I cheer for while playing the Yankees (example, Anaheim last year, Diamondbacks the year before)...

Ok, I know your gonna spell check "palooka", LOL. I try to stay mad at you, but then you write something timely and relevant that has been thoroughly researched and eloquently written that blows me away, I become your fan anew.
How is your European trip going? Last time you posted, you had burnt a plastic bottomed coffee pot in Sweden or somewhere in the wee hours of the morning. How do you find your victims, I mean hosts when you go abroad? LMAO.
Take care and keep us all informed and inflamed on every leg of your journey.

Very tired from staying up until 6am to listen to the game...had to get up early today to do interviews. This is definitely a work trip. I'm going to take a nap and then give a speech tonight, and then I am off tomorrow to Berlin. Thanks for asking!

I'm married to a huge Yankee fan and all I've been causing is trouble this week by telling him, "It's time the Sox had their wins." Words he does not want to hear. HA! HA! HA! I'm am evil! I will torment him! (I just had a huge long island ice tea. Sorry!)

35. time to start my anti Yankees act again
For the past 2 years, I've rooted for both the Angels and Dbacks to beat the Yankees. Now that te Bosox have shown themselves worthy, I'll do it again  One of my friends is a huge Derek jeter fan, and her whole family has wall to wall Yankees stuff in their house. I think I'll wear my new bosx cap and Nomar jersey this afternoon, and pay them a little visit...
