The Boston Red Sox just came back from being down two games in the division series to win three straight and earn a shot at the World Series. I'm listening to the players go wild on the field here in Amsterdam, thanks to radio streaming on the internet (Thank you, Mr. Gore). Every statistic in the history of baseball says we are headed for certain defeat against the Yankees.
But that's why they play the games.
My point? There is hope in the world every single day. That's why they play the games.
the sports world never thought the cubs would be in the play offs ,then they thought they`d never beat the braves..but they did. so maybe this year the sox will beat the yanks.hell my white sox kicked the crap out of them a few times this year, so count me in -go sox!
But there is no chance in I will cheer the hell up tonight. Somebody stole every cent my husband and I have today by forging checks and cleaning out our bank accounts. Even the Cub's spectacular performance can't get me out of this funk. Maybe tomorrow...
