37:27 on the phone with AT&T wireless - ask me anything
Upgrading my phone to a GSM Nokia 6800. Everyone is SUPER polite, I am impressed, just lots of hoops to jump through to move from TDMA to GSM

1. Why didn't you just go to the store
I drove to my local AT&T 2 weeks ago and it took about 20 minutes for them to set me up with a new phone and with GSM.

2. Do you like AT&T?
I have Sprint, and I have considered AT&T as I can get American Airlines miles with them. I like Sprint a lot, but I'd switch for similar service.

3. I'm Just Getting Ready To Call
I'm just getting ready to give them a shout myself...I'll settle in for the long wait.

4. I did the same thing last month.
It probably took me ten phone calls to get it right.

I stayed with AT&T so I could keep the same number and I couldn't wait until Novemeber when the finally implemented number portability (only took 7 years)

Its been kind of a nightmare, and every time I was ready to tell them to take the phone back and never talk to me again, they fixed the current problem. They must have a stress meter built into the phone that tells them when they're about to go to far. :-)

Also, I'd be curious to see how your new phone handles cell handoffs. I keep getting dropped in between cells.
