or did they just subtract the "No" votes from 100 and say Arnold won by that much? I wouldn't put anything past the media whores.

5. I don't see him getting a courting period.
Not with the sexual harrassment allegations keeping him in the news. And news of his meeting with the boys of Enron is due to hit the mainstream in the next few months. He's going to have to hit one out of the ball park at his first time to bat to get them off his back.

Oh, and let's not forget that someone is bound to be signing a Recall petition to Recall the Recall. Now that would be a Total Recall.

6. Ahh, so it is option 3 - Freaking whores on CNN and NPR
said Arnold won with 55% of the vote, and therefore has some kind of mega mandate.

7. To be fair, I thought I heard NPR say...
...that 55 percent was for the RECALL ITSELF, not Schwarzenegger specifically. In fact, they didn't mention what percentage Schwarzenegger got of the vote.

I agree that it was too vague and misleading, though, given the nature of the ballot.

8. What is stunning to me are the votes for the peripheral candidates
I would have sworn that these people would get
maybe 20 votes each, but the least amount any
of these "candidates" got was in the 200's.

If all these Dems weren't on the ballot, I wonder
if that would have made any difference...
