Poll question: Some good movies coming out this weekend - which do you plan to see?
Some great movies out this weekend including new ones from Taratino, Eastwood and the Coen Brothers (all tops in my book). Planning on seeing any of them??

But I'll tell you this much, if the person I saw the movie with was a guy, I swear he would have gotten lucky that night after the movie!!

2. Coens!
Although critics (those with their heads firmly implanted up their arse) are pooh-poohing because the bros aren't sticking to the "conventional" rules of romantic comedy......have they ever?????

'Mystic River' is second.

5. Mystic River
Great cast, harrowing story, and whatever one thinks about Eastwood, he is a great director.

I will pass on the new Tarantino. He is getting more and more unbearably pretentious.

9. I saw Tarantino blip yesterday where he was saying ...
that if Kill Bill was one film it would be pretentious, but as 2 volumes it's "brilliant" (if he does say so himself). I have really liked some of his stuff, but I agree, he's just so full of himself.

I do plan to see Mystic River. If Tim Robbins is associated with it, I'll give anything a try. :)

8. You need to allow for seeing more than one movie!
My kids work for a movie chain, and I see pretty much everything. I'm not interested in "Kill Bill", but I'll probably be seeing everything else that opens, at least by next weekend.

I'm spoiled.
