I think I have one of them shitty little tracker programs on my PC

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a program that kills them small tracker programs that accidently can get installed on my PC? You know, the ones that track what I do with my PC for commercial reasons so they can target me with pop-up crap later on?

I probably am not making myself anywhere near clear, but I'll give it a go. Help me, please!!

and then ad-aware from:

http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/

Both are free, easy to use and should clean up the problem.

5. Holy sh*t

I just ran Spy Bot and almost had a cow. I'm behind a firewall but there was all kinds of spyware on my machine. In the freaking registry!!!

Do not pass Go
Do not collect $200

On that website, find the download for Ad Aware. Download the latest version, and run it about once per month. That takes care of a lot of spyware programs. :)

4. I Have Both Adaware and Spybot

and have found that Spybot gets everthing Adaware does plus some additional things.
