Oooooooooooooooohhhhhh... who sprechen sie deutsch whilst I laugh riotously?

Anyone other than me and dolo amber REALLY wanna hear the Spongebob song in German? Spongebob the Swimming Head, that is. Laugh out loud, roll on the floor pissing in all directions HILARIOUS!

this may well be the funniest thing EVER to come across my computer screen. EVER.

And yes, the .wav file is safe. Made it myself. ;-)

6. My (admittedly paltry) Kingdom for a literal translation...
I got the "Swimming Head" thing, as apparently the German word for "sponge" would not lend itself well to cartooning. But I need to hear the old man screaming at the kids in German and KNOW what he's saying. Anyone know the German for pineapple?

The lyrics aren't much different from the US version (being German aside). However I don't understand why they replaced "Squarepants" with Schwammkopf :shrug: .

In any case: dict.leo.org is an excellent place, if you're looking for German words.

Although I'm dimly aware of the show, it's the first time that I've heard it. I think the translation is rather well done.
And when you're done with this one: every show gets dubbed for the German market, that means thousands (at least hundreds) of themesongs.
