Lion v. Tiger - Death Match Results?
Okay, for other Discovery Channel freaks out there:

Male Lion v. Male Tiger - Same age and approximate size. Neutral territory. A situation where a fight is inevitable (neither can gracefully retreat).

Who wins in a Mano a Mano Death Match?

My money's on the tiger. They are damned impressive and scary as hell. What do you think?

1. Tiger
I think male lions tend not to have to hunt for themselves as much. The females in the pride do most of the killing. True, males have to defend their "harem" but that's pretty infrequent and usually more show than fight.

The Siberian tiger is THE largest of all the big cats.
