Debating the ballparks.

These guys argue about Yankee Stadium and Fenway, but I'll take Wrigley Field any old day!

Actually, I love all three. Despite the wonderful atmosphere and architecture of Safeco, Pac Bell, Camden Yard, Miller Park, and Heinz Field, I still would take a day in any of the three shrines over them at any time.

I love old ballparks. Gimme tiger Stadium over Comerica anyday!

We need a new ball park! A shiny, round one in the suburbs that can be used for multiple sports and is difficult to get to.

the Metrodome, Kaufman in KC, Coors Field, and Miller Park. I really liked Kaufman (I know I'm missing a letter in there somewhere). The Metrodome is just bad beyond my powers of description today.

All are great,historic ballparks. Naturally,I prefer Fenway:)

Then I went to Denver and attended a game at Coors Field. It was lovely! Comfortable, spacious, new. Nothing like Fenway. But there's something about walking through an old ballpark and seeing the green grass for the first time. I'll take the old classic parks anyday.

I'm still anxious to see Camden Yards though.

I get goosebumps no matter which field it is.

my first memory there as a 7 year old was the smell of cigars and the truly amazing experience of walking up the ramp and seeing the stunning sight of the right field wall and the bright lights on the verdant green field. and the phillies beat the cubs that night in june '62, 3-0.

i sure wish i still had all those bobbleheads i collected then.

I've also been to Connie Mack Stadium and the Polo Grounds before they were torn down.
Yankee Stadium is the Cathederal.
But I've never felt as intimate with the Baseball Gods as I did at Fenway Park. I felt like I was sitting right on top of the field.
Now Wrigley was a bit of a disappointment to me. It was very cold on the day I was there. And I wasn't very impressed with the layout of the field. I respect the tradition of Wrigley, love to watch games from Wrigley on TV, when the wind is blowing out, but on the day I was there it was blowing in on me and it wasn't such a great place to be.
So my choice, if I had to watch one game from one field would be Fenway.

Built in 1973, and still about the best venue for a game in the US. Ya gotta see it to believe it.
