The sadness of this breaks my heart, but bear with me...

My husband picked up a worn-out western. Inside, on the title page, a child named Rhonda Lynn had written, "Daddy, please come home." If anyone has a child named Rhonda Lynn, please find her. I'm sorry.

1. How do you know a child wrote that?

I have a friend who is 36 and she calls her father "Daddy." Didn't you post the link to the girl that was looking for her father and all she had was a picture and no name or anything else? I think that was a hoax site. There is not enough information that you gave in the above post to indicate it is anything more then a morbid joke.
