Northfield is Glenview's bastard stepchild. But I am rioting tonight for the Cubs game 6 NLCS victory, and will probably be a guest of the Chicago police for a few days, so not sure on my availability.
I'll be in town for the next week with maybe a side trip in or around Wrigley Field during the next game or two.
Just don't ask me to drive. The light changed, I drove and a 200 lb asshole shouted "Pedestrain" as he was running across the light and as I was driving a 4000 lb car powered by 1200 of him (assuming that an average person generates 1/8th of a horsepower), I didn't think he was very bright.
mid-afternoon downtown? Did you have Chicago pizza yet? I can PM some DUers who have been at previous gatherings and perhaps get a few more participants. Would that work for you?
