2. Man is the measure of all things.

As a kid, I remember a book illustrating the idea of how the large- and small-scale nature of the universe in a similar manner. It was not as well done as your excellent example, but what stayed with me was the idea that man (meaning men and women, human beings, people) stands at the midpoint between the largest and the smallest parts of existence. Our modern science proves the ancients were right, again.
