The Robbers
I pull the first of my new crap pots in Alligator Creek. Yesterday it was a brand new pot, five dollars and fifty cents. To-day it is empty of crabs, it is bent, twisted and ruined, as is the next one and the next one: all ten of them I set out the day before.

Pulled up on the creek's shore is a pleasure boat. In the boat are my crabs. The three people that robbed my traps appear from the woods. I cannot fight them, I cannot curse them.

So I say "These crab traps are my living, I have children, a family to feed and you have robbed them."

They say nothing and I leave.

A day in the life of a crabber.

2. Movie
I think no movie will ever be made about a poor crabber.
