Though, judging from the number of them who've had affairs, divorces so they could marry the woman they were having the affair with, illegitimate children, groping issues (remember Bob Packwood?), or a compulsion to spend tax dollars to cover the naked boobs of female statues lest that ol debbil lust be stirred within their righteous souls, it would seem that the Republican leadership is both horny and gettin itself plenty. It may well be quite a bit different for the Republican rank and file. They're all so angry and they have so many issues with members of the weaker sex.

Now that I think about it, their penchant for producing illegitimate children explains why so many Republicans are BASTARDS.

James Michener in "The Covenant" comments at one point that the three men who did the most to screw up South Africa in the 19th century were all unmarried. I don't know, though, whether he was hinting that lack of sex was to blame or that they were homosexual; or maybe he was just alluding to the happy old-fashioned notion that marriage settles a man down and domesticates him.

My advice to Republican men suffering "from pent-up aching rivers": stuff a sock down your pants and strut around in a flight suit. It still won't win you the favors of get a lusty, buxom liberal wench (as if you could handle us), but you might charm a Kathy Harris or a Mona Charen. If not, drop a dime on Tim Russert or G. Gordon Liddy.
