All the "bad song threads" are missing something!
Edited on Sun Oct-19-03 01:10 PM by Archae
Back in the late 60's and during the 70's, my friends, sisters, and I would laugh for HOURS, hearing popular tunes, sung by...

Mrs Miller.

(No, she has nothing to do with Mitch Miller)

Just imagine your grandma or elderly aunt, singing "Hard Day's Night" in a slightly operatic manner, and off-key. :D

On edit: Here's an .mp3 of Mrs Miller doing "Hard day's Night."

(About 1/3 down the page, under "Beatles Covers")

Her version of "Downtown" was a classic.

1. If you loved Mrs. Miller, then...
You must check out incorrectmusic.com. It's a fantastic website dedicated to outsider music, or music so bad it's good, that kinda thing. Lots of archived audio.

2. Don't MAKE me pull out my Ed McMahon album!
He does a reasonably passable version of "Georgy Girl," but "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" is just frightening.

3. Forgot about her!
But then, I also have to try and blot out the memory of my kid brother's recording (LP) of "Mr. Spock's Music From Outter Space"

Now, his Royal Guardsmen LP of Snoopy ve Red Baron songs was OK....

4. Or William Shatner doing Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds
hilariously awful.
