I am becoming a Nature Freak
I drove on the Tamiaimi Trail yesterday afternoon. I love that road. It's like being on a Safari.

I saw lots of birds and wildlife. I saw a few alligators and crocodiles peer out of the canals. They are so cute and adorable!

I'm becoming a nature freak.

2. October is pretty up here (D.C.)
I went walking yesterday at Roosevelt Island. The weather was beautiful and the leaves are just starting to turn.

4. Yay! Good for you!
Can you walk the same trail? There is nothing like being alone, surrounded by the sights, sounds, and smells of the natural outdoors. I walk in the woods every day and it is always changing and there is always something new to see. My favorite pastime is sharing nature with children. It is very rewarding!

8. Cool!
I think the Everglades could do that to anybody. I've been a bit of a nature freak for at least a couple decades, but the Everglades blew me away when I finally got to visit them back in September.

Buy a pair of hiking boots and get out of your car. It's even better. :D
