For hip hop heads...............

There's an MC called Immortal Technique who is rippin' it up in the NYC underground , he is really original, raw and a great lyricist....check out Dance with The Devil and Cause Of Death (about Bush, 9-11, Osama Bin Laden)......this cat spits the truth and will send chills down your spine......his new album, Revolutionary Volume 2 is out......a legend in the making...........

2. Awesome! What's the label? Or how can you get it?
And pay no mind to the haters on this site--they think if it isn't rock and wasn't recorded before 1975, it's shit. They're idiots. :)

6. I know, I was only referring to the haters...
There are plenty of older people who are open-minded about music--my mom likes Fishbone, so there ya go!

5. yeah no doubt..............

...now back to the music.......here's a link to the record company that released his first two EP's.......from what I heard he had some offers from a few major labels but turned them down, he wants to remain independent and have total control over his music......

7. Cool, thanks for the link...
There are some labels that allow you complete artistic control, but still give you important tools, like help with distribution. Rawkus comes to mind. But mostly, I agree, signing with a label is the quickest way to fuck up your vision.

10. I was kinda surprised ...........

that some major labels were trying to sign him......because there is alot of political content in his music, some of it raw and heavily against Bush and the ruling junta.......he really breaks it down though, on point at all times........
