Boston DUers...
Can anyone give me any inside info on Grady Little? Is there talk around town that he is going to be fired? I am a heartbroken Red Sox fan living outside of MA. I need some dirt.

2. The steam
is still coming out of my ears. Thanks for the info. I get Channel 38 news on Dish network. Bob Lobel seems pissed. I keep waiting for my Red Sox email telling me he has been fired. I guess I can wait until after the WS. Do you think the players will be upset if he is fired. They seem very supportive of him.

3. looks pretty bleak for Grady
the players and the beat writers are coming out in force for him but most talk show callers, water cooler conversations and straw polls say he just shouldn't come back.

Even Joe Torre defended him in his world series PC yesterday.

check out www.redsox.com fan forum message board for some real discussion on the matter.

4. WEEI Sports Radio Has a Funny Joke Phone Line
Called the Grady Line, where soundbites of Grady's wisdom dispense advice to people with various problems. Even though the Pats are playing, most of sports talk still involves disgruntled fans demanding Grady's head.

It was a series of bad managerial decisions that lost Game 7 for the Sox. I don't think they'll fire him right away-they may wait until the beginning of next season.

7. I heard a discussion
I forget where...maybe NESN.

Who the heck would they get to replace him? Knowing that you have to improve on a team that lost in the LCS. Who would want that pressure?

I'm beginning to think, now that the anger that Grady's ineptitude caused me has died down a bit, that he'll stay. The players want him...the fans want to lynch him. Who knows, other than the owners and Theo?
