6. Interesting

The numbers don't look great, but it's better than the predictions of lowest World Series ever. I attribute some of the lower numbers to disillusioned Red Sox and Cubs fans.

Which I find very sad because before then, I had watched pretty much every World Series since 1977. (Some more than others.)

I got sick of watching the Yankees win every g*****n year! ;-)

Yeah, I should've watched last year, when the Yankees weren't in it, but inertia had set in and I didn't care any more. I wasn't familiar with either team, since I hadn't followed baseball in almost 3 years.

:shrug:

Someday I'll care again about the World Series, but it's not this year. The good thing about the Cubs' success this year is that I will probably start caring about the regular season again starting next year.
