Bucky Dent, Not just a toothpaste for beavers?!?

I was at work, when I glanced at the TV in the snack bar. On it flashed the names of Bambino, Buckner, Boone and Bucky Dent.

I know why the other three were inportant in keeping the BosTox from winning the big one, but what's the story behind Dent?

I know that some you Baseball nuts have an answer to this one.

Broke my heart in 1978. He was not a great player, so it was safe as a 14-year old to have a crush on him. Bucky was damn cute. He would not pose a threat to my beloved Sox, so I thought.
