Hehe! Just had to share this, the Rove Beetle.

One of the largest beetle families is the Rove beetle, with nearly 30,000 species worldwide. These beetles fly swiftly but are best known for their running style. They move rapidly over ground with the tip of their flexible abdomen raised like a scorpion's stinger but they do not sting.
Most Rove beetles are found along the shores of streams and lakes, under bark, and on mushrooms and flowers. Approximately 40 species, however, travel by clinging to the fur of small mammals, helping their hosts by feeding on parasites like fleas and ticks. In this rare relationship, the mammal provides the beetle with food and the beetle rids the mammal of its irritating guests.

Call me a dork but I thought this was hilarious! Oh, it really is in a book about beetles.

I especially like the clinging to the fur of a mammal part. Hmmmmm! Could that mammal be a chimp?
