Why is beer sold in 6-packs (The standard)? Why not 8?
Or maybe 4?

Is it because 6 beers is the average for a decent beer buzz? Would 8 be too much on average? 4 too little?

PS~ Yes, I'm drinking Rolling Rock tonight:toast:

14. Does anyone remember "Little Kings"?
Malt Liquor in 8 oz. bottles, bottled near Cincinati, Ohio in the early 80's. Wonder if they still exist, can't remember all the good times I had drinking those! Literally!

11. Little Kings used to come in 8-packs
8 oz. bottles, though. Since it's not sold anymore, you might not know it was creme ale, and about 8% alcohol. You could get 40 oz. Big Kings, too.

15. I had six classes at college....
Though it would seem a 12 pack would be more conducive to passing a logic class taught by a fundamentalist Christian....
Hell that didn't even work...so I am stumped!

12. Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale is sold in 4-packs
At $10.99 a 4-pack, they figure no one will ever spend the money for a 6-pack.

26. The ANSWER:
...and you can thank Pabst for it.

"Pabst was the first brewery to package beer in six packs. After numerous studies, it was determined that six cans was the ideal weight for the average housewife to cart home from the store."
