HUNTSVILLE, Ala., Oct. 22 — Actor Fred Berry has died, according to the Associated Press. The comic actor was best known for his role as Rerun on the 1970’s TV sitcom “What’s Happening!”

RIP, Rerun.

1. I always liked Rerun

So many people from that show are dead now: Shirley Hemphill, Mabel King and now him. He was a fine actor who made a lot of people laugh, including me.

JD was drifting off into one of his daydreams where Rerun was teaching them how to do the Rerun-Pop-N-Jerk style dancing.

6. I LOVED What's Happening!

It was a very funny show. The funniest episode was when Dee was asked to take part in a commercial for some burger restaurant and when she ate the burger she basically said it sucked.

The last time I saw Rerun was on the show Star Dates on the E! network. He went out on two dates. He basically was in character all the time. Too bad he didn't have a lot of success after What's Happening.

Also, I think he was from St Louis. I'll have to see what the Post Disgrace has to say about his death.
