Whoring, with a purpose

I have a listing on what is supposedly the leading on-line t-shirt site. I can't vouch for that, but it does draw a couple hundred people to my site each month. Anyway, the listing comes with space for a good size image, and I can replace the image on demand, in real time.

Now, the Politics section is supposedly the busiest section of the site. And, the idea is that people vote for the best shirt each month, in various categories. A couple of sites -- pro-Bush sites -- have managed kind of grass-roots campaigns, it seems, to keep the Bush/Cheney 04 logo at the top of the page every single month. Not even an image of their t-shirt, just a nice block campaign logo. An ad, if I might be so bold!

I began countering a while ago by also dropping the entire image of a shirt from my listing, and made up special graphics with just the messages on them. They're like little soft campaign ads. The premium positions, though, can only retained by people voting to keep you in that slot. Lately, some really sucky GOP and even France-hating shirts (gawd, that's sooooooooo last July!) have been just edging out my patriotic messages. And of course, a big blue BUSH/Cheney logo up top.

Anyway...could I be so bold as to ask you to cast a vote for a fellow DUer, and to help the message below move up the charts to at least snuggle up right under the Bush/Cheney logo?
