Protests against Chimpy in Hawaii, too.
He can't say it was a boring trip. Think the wife has clue, yet? I mean, why does the entire world protest her husband?

Policemen control the crowd of protesters gathered at the Hilton
Hawaiian Village as President Bush (news - web sites) arrived in
Honolulu on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003. Bush stopped in Hawaii on his
way back to Washington, after his recently completed trip to Asia and
Australia. (AP Photo/Ronen Zilberman)

1. Read in the NY Times today
that Bush was amazed to discover that the rest of the world doesn't look on us as a benign superpower but as an anti-Islamic, grasping bully. Duh. Maybe it was time he stepped out of his glass bubble and started reading the papers instead of listening to what Condi Rice tells him.

2. Seems like he only left yesterday.
One month in Crawford a year, and a few days of photo-shooting opportunities with the "peeples" of the world. Yep, that's a well-balanced agenda.

3. Now, on to Camp David for a three day expense paid weekend,
of wooing hand picked contributors in a famous place! Saddam is prolly hiding in Lincoln's bedroom with Osama, and Bush won't be at the WH enough to notice as long as they donate! Bush is just a high classed panhandler and total shirker, and now he's got Colon Bowel out on the bum too!

4. I was there!
Howard Dean was well represented at the Hawaii protests. We were pretty much the only Presidential campaign with a presence, although about 3 Kucinich supporters were passing out info.

The day before the protests 3 local stations came to video Dean supporters creating our signs. I was on TV inking my "FIRE THE LIAR - Boot Bush in 2004" sign.

Too bad Bush didn't have the courage to drive by us. We were told he had snuck in some other way.

5. Well, he had to have wondered what was burning in the Philippines
It's difficult NOT to smell 100 US flags up in flames.
