Idiot freeper coworkers believe fellatio reduces breast cancer risk
I just overheard my freeper coworkers mention a that CNN is reporting a study that fellatio reduces the risk of breatcancer in women.

That sounded rather incredible, so I googled "fellatio breast cancer", and found links to snopes and urbanlegends.com debunking the story. I found NO link to CNN about it.

They insisted it was on CNN's web page, and sent me this link:

http://www.hardcoreminis.com/cnn.html

Duh. Obviously, it's a joke. It's not on CNN's server.

It's a web page camouflaged as a CNN web page.

Did they believe me?

Nope. Their reply, dripping with sarcasm, was "OK, CNN is wrong, and some random web page is right... uh-huh..."

Snopes is not some random web page; quite frankly, I feel snopes is more credible than CNN.com. Nor did they realise (or want to realise) that the link they sent me was NOT a CNN page. They just said, "Look at it! It's obviously a CNN page!" They didn't seem to want to understand that if the URL's not cnn.com, it's NOT a cnn page.

They flat out refused to check out my links debunking the page.

It occurred to me that maybe they were just playing with their "pet communist" (i.e., me), but they were dead serious about it.

This is typical of the freeper mentality. They get a sound bite that they like stuck in their little brains, and it is impossible to dispel them of the notion. The blinders come up to protect them from any information that might rock their worldview, and they respond to countering information (even overwhelming counter information) either by refusing to listen, or by attacking the source.

Yeah that's joke. Somebody posted the story in the Lounge the other day and it was obvious to me that it was a hoax.

hummers they don't deserve.

If they want one they should get it the old-fashioned way - by buying expensive jewelry. (Or *gasp* by offering a little quid pro quo.) ;-)

9. I've been reading the book "Toxic Parents" much of which,
not surprisingly, also seems to relate to freepers. There's a section in there that says when you try to get people to see your point of view, you are giving them power by giving them the opportunity to refuse to see your point of view. The books suggests nondefensive replies, such as:

"Oh, really?" "Uh-huh." "Well, you're certainly entitled to your opinion." "That's nice."

Obviously these idiots are completely ignorant and don't want to see the light. Their probably unwilling to give up the notion because they think they'll be able to convince their wives to give them more blow jobs. If I were the wife of a freeper, I'd risk breast cancer before I'd have sex with the creep.

10. Sense of humor
Lots of people claim those on the left have no sense of humor. The fellatio report is clearly a hoax and, yeah, I betcha at least some of your associates are using it to pull your leg.

Maybe not all, but some. I read the article and felt my heart leap with joy at first. Then I realised it was literally too good to be true, and rereading it, picked up the clues that identify it as a hoax clearly.

I did discuss it with my SO but got nowhere. She is clearly smarter than I am, though she did marry me.

Hey, we all make mistakes.

40. But under false pretenses!
Hey, I am as happy as the next person to engage in non-procreative activity, but because I like it, not because I'm being lied to.

Besides, where's the logic? How could it possibly be that fellating a man prevents cancer cells from growing? How could anyone follow that reasoning?

23. If it looks like CNN then it must be CNN!!!
I actually find it odd that a Freeper would ever argue that CNN has more credibility then some silly webpage. Seeing that it was just some silly internet rumor that gave us such things as the conspiracy theory of the Clinton's murdering Vince Foster... And CNN is as they say "Clinton News Network". But then, it's not like anyone would ever expcet a conservative to even attempt to be consistent.

However, if they do hold to the silly claim that if it looks like CNN then it must be CNN even if it's on a totally different server... Why not show them www.whitehouse.org It looks like that whitehouse site, and it even says whitehouse. And then they can read all about Arhnuld trying to finger the first lady.

If they are stupid enough to believe that site is actually CNN, maybe they'll believe whitehouse.org is the official white house website too. That'll flip them out.

31. Fellatio DOES reduce cancer risk...for MEN
Seriously. Researchers last July released an article explaining that frequent ejaculation in men between 20 and 50 appears to substantially reduce the risk of prostate cancer. The researchers recommended masturbation, but frequent masturbation brings the risk of tennis elbow and carpal tunnel. Standard sex was also cited as a possible way to promote frequent ejaculation, but the female monthly cycle prevents couples from having the daily sex needed to truly benefit from this discovery.

Fellatio is the only 100% safe, reliable option for men wanting to lead long, healthy lives

34. I posted the fellatio story here yesterday, after I got it in email
It was really well-done, looked just like the CNN site. I'm not sure if the person had originally snuck it onto the actual CNN site or not, because I read something about CNN not being very happy about it and ordering them to take it down. But it was still up, so perhaps they moved it onto another server.

Of course the freepers are such dumbasses that they believed it. Everyone here realized it was a joke and we all got a pretty good laugh out of it. Now that we know the freepers believe it, we can get an even bigger laugh. :D
