Online applications suck ass!

They act like it is so fucking convenient to fill out the online applications. It is a monstrous pain in the ass. Especially if you went to any non-american univesities. And those fuckwads from the GRE office still don't have my score report back even though I took it on 9/31 so I can't fill out these fucking forms!!! And some placed won't even let you print out a PDF and send it in the old fashioned way. This is pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!!!

4. When you get over 100 apps for the same job . . .

. . . it's nice to have the applicant enter the info directly into the database.

If the process of applying frustrates an applicant so much, it may be a sign the job itself is too . . . stressful?

5. It is that I am applying to a couple dozen grad schools

each one has its own form, and many of the forms are buggy. You fill out a page and press the button and then there is a page not found error and your work is wasted and even worse, you don't know if it will help to try again. I just want the goddamned pencil and paper forms, but some universities are convinced that they know better and they force you to try to use their non-functioning system. Damn the System! I might as well drive over and beat these assholes into submission and demand a fellowship for my trouble.

Yes, that would drive me crazy if the file is buggy. The things are so darned long, then you get to page - like - 12, and it blows up in your face. AAARRGH.

7. Here's your problem.

You took the GRE on 9/31 and there are only 30 days in September.

Tests taken on days that don't exist require special processing. :)

(I realize it is a typo, I just couldn't resist the opportunity to tease you a little).
