I used to be nervous before I gave a speech, but Rush Limbaugh said he had a tip for that. (major laugh) But it turned out the drugstore was closed.

A lot of it was in the delivery, which was flawless. I wish we could have Republicans like Bob Dole again.

6. Bob Dole never showed that side of himself in the '96 campaign

It's a shame, because Bob is one of the funniest guys (a marvelous dry sense of humor) in Washington. The ad he did for VISA right after the election was a classic.
