WOO HOO! AMC is showing "THEY LIVE", one of the greatest "Republican" Horror Films EVER made. IF you haven't seen it yet, do yourself a favor and join us Wed night as we chew some bubble-gum and kick ass!

I've seen it numerous times in the past. One of the few films that I can say that I've watched more than once.

I know there's a lot of TL fans in the house. I keep seeing it brought up time and time again.

I love the fist fight between Roddy Piper and Keith David that goes on forever.

and the other kid is a highpoint of TV too.

The scene where Nada says "I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum" was ad-libbed by Piper, Roddy.

The two critics speaking against violence on film criticize director Carpenter, John.

Writer "Frank Armitage" is actually director Carpenter, John.

The fight between Nada (Piper, Roddy) and Frank (David, Keith (I)) was only supposed to last 20 seconds, but Piper and David decided to fight it out for real, only faking the punches to the face. Carpenter was so impressed he kept the scene intact.

The communicators that the guards use are the P.K.E. meters from Ghostbusters (1984).

The credited writer "Frank Armitage" is a reference to William Gibson's book "Neuromancer."

Roddy Piper's character never gives his name nor is he referred to by name throughout the entire movie. He is simply referred to as "Nada" in the credits.
