Any DUers at the Al Franken talk tonight?

It was BRILLIANT! I go there quite early, so was quite close to up front, just a person or two away from the guy with the baby.

Excellent evening! When we arrived first, the Barnes and Noble people kept saying, "There will be no talk - he's only signing. There will be no talk."

Then when Franken came out, he said, "I hear you were told I wasnm't speaking." We said, sadly, "yeah...." and he said, "Well, I'm gonna talk!"

At one point he said, "I should stop, for respect for the standing people" (which was about 99% of the crowd) and the crowd said, "NO!! We'll stand!! Keep talking!"

It was great. Lots of digs and disses at O'Reilly, Coulter, and Shrub; Faux news; and well, you can imagine.
