Spectacular lightshow from the solar flares
A guy in Kirkland captured some great pictures of the Northern Lights last night around midnight:

:-( I was out looking around 10 p.m., but didn't see anything. Wah. I missed it.

1. I never ever saw the Northern Lights....
Every time someone mentions the Northern Lights, I think of the song Farmhouse.

Oh well.

should have specified Washington state. It's a suburban sprawl community east of Lake Washington.

Which means, had I stayed up another hour, I could have seen them. WAAAAHHH!!! I was out looking, too.

7. Houses look more Seattle-ish than Kirland-ish
(Kirkland houses tend to have the post 1950 "sprawl" look)
