Nic Cage is still set for the remake.

HOWEVER, they just finished filming the REAL sequel to TWM. Sean Austin and Chris Lee star. It's a thematic sequel, not a real sequel, and all of the principle people from TWM are involved. That one I REALLY want to see.

Hehehehehehehe!

Mel Gibson's "The Passion" will play in the theaters here in the US, but I highly doubt we will see TWM follow-up.
