Do not install Panda Antivirus --- It is a XP killer
I saw somebody talking about Panda Antivirus so I download the trial version. I am running XP with all fixes. So when I went to install it all went OK until it said hit "terminate" to exit. Not only would it NOT EXIT it hung my XP system. It was the old BIG RED SWITCH time to re-boot.

OK I re-booted and Panda pop-up and tells me it is running. OK not for long. I did a control panel add/remove and removed it I thought. BUT oh not. I re-boot and Panda pops up and tells me it's running in SPANISH . I check the Panda directory and tons of files are still there. OK I tried to delete them but no a number of them are still being used. Third re-boot, SAFE mode this time and then delete the files. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

1. If anyone else has any info on this, I would appreciate it
My company just started selling Panda as a "Virus Protection Plan". I've had one employee install it who said it works fine, and a customer who returned it because it installed in Spanish.

2. I had a terrible time with Panda
The message I got was, after I used the free trial version, I bought it and tried to install it. And every time I did, I got a message saying that the trial version was still installed on my computer, and to uninstall it.

After 10 back-and-forth emails to Panda, where they would tell me new ways to uninstall the trial version, none of which worked, I gave up, considered the money spent lost, and installed Norton.

I would NEVER buy anything from that company again.
