Hope all are all right. And I just remembered that my husband's sister-in-law is flying back to Pakistan from Toronto today. I hope it's not her plane!

Media claiming it's a 737, but they are WRONG. Wing is way too big, it's a 757 or 767. 200 on board, off the runway on takeoff.

I'm going back and fort between CTV and CBC; I don't think there will be many survivors looking at the live footage, but I hope I'm wrong..

39. Yes it is, but I also remember when news stations would break away
to something elese if they had nothing new to report on the crash. Now they just blather and blather.

29. CNN was all over it and DEAD WRONG
MSNBC waited several minutes and had far less errors! It was glaringly obvious that was NOT a 737 from the first moment!!!

34. CityTV is on the phone with someone who knows one of the passengers.
The caller says the passenger and many others got off the plane, but some folks were beat up kind of bad by the rough landing and may not have made it off the plane before it burst in flames.

33. MSNB saying struck by lightning after it landed, killing
all the electrical (more than likely) so that the plane was then utterly out of control - no brakes, no nothing without an electrical system. Kinda makes one think that having everything tied through the electrical system is kinda dumb.
