Neo-Cons Await Their Doom!

Unconfirmed Sources report that while Neo-Conservatives are living the highlife by whooping it up in the right wing media they are anticipating the fall of empire. The bad brains of the movement have been busy touting the, as yet elusive, success of the Bush doctrine by day and crying into their whiskeys by night. The 'smoke filled Neo-Conservative lairs' that gave birth to Iraqi Freedom have lost their magic.

In the face of the total policy failures in Iraq and the Bush administrations squandering of the Clinton Era budget surplus the Neo-Conservatives are sinking into despair. A leading conservative thinker connected to the group remarked. "I haven't seen the crew looking this glum since Bill Clinton sent Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich packing. I'm not sure another tax cut or even another war would help."

The Neo-Conservative weak and frail have already begun to fall by the wayside. Neo-Conservative economic provocateur, Grover Norquist, was found drowned under a copy of the Federal Budget he was reading in his luxury apartment bathtub. Norquist, was remembered by conservative lightweight Tucker Carlson, as the "mean-spirited, humorless, dishonest little creep ... the leering, drunken uncle everyone wishes would stay home." He will not be missed by many.

Other Bush administration officials at the center of the impending Neo-Conservative melt down have been buffing up their résumés. Paul Wolfowitz, the Pentagons policy mastermind has been seen at Kinko's copying cover sheets.
