Have you ever regretted saying something for shock value
that you thought that people would get that you were just being funny, that it was obviously not the truth. Instead, they believed it and told others.
I am facing a crisis at work because of this. Production was running late and I told someone on the line to get the last sample for me. Another woman asked why I was leaving early. I was leaving early, but on time for me because I had to get a prescription renewed that I had let slip. There are withdrawal side effects from the medicine and I was getting dizzy.
I'll finish the story if other people give other stories. I don't want this thread to turn into how stupid my reply was in light of my job situation.
