On the concrete median island between the BUSY 6-lane road, two people were holding up flagpoles.
The flags, from top to bottom, are:
* The US flag * The Israeli flag * a UN flag with a huge honkin' diagonal red line going through it.
Now, if you ask me, should these people be allowed to disrupt traffic like this?
I say put 'em where they'd be of use: Teleport them to Palestine. A harsh statement but to preach to a choir is like Bush going to a town that is by large for everything he says in order to speak of his plans for our country... seems more logical to start spouting one's ideas in areas where you NEED to convince somebody of your ideals and as sure as hell not in a place where people are more concentrating on driving so they don't kill anybody. Unlike those dorks who'd deserve it if they were hit... sorry to be harsh, but a golden rule (if not general common sense) is NOT to disrupt traffic on a very busy street.
